About us

The founders of NB-ESTATES are Carl Vorsselmans and Freyke Van Looveren. Both made a career switch from the police world to the Spanish real estate world. Carl spent many years as a commissioner with the Special Units and Freyke with the Antwerp Local Police. Under our blogs, you will find articles about this from De Pol (Antwerp Local Police), De Gazet van Antwerpen, Het Nieuwsblad and other media outlets, In addition, our office has a recognition number with the IPI (501511). This is necessary to practise the profession of estate agent on Belgian territory. In Spain this is not regulated, which means that anyone can practice the profession. With us, this way there always remains an important connection with Belgium. In the meantime, we have grown considerably and can help and support you in the most desirable Spanish regions! Our team is young, dynamic and always ready to assist you in the best possible way. Typical is our long-term vision, which translates into a careful and strict selection of real estate opportunities. We will not add any projects to our portfolio that have not been positively screened in terms of bank guarantees, permits, reliability and finish. Our goal is to find your dream home and provide complete guidance from A to Z. This long-term vision is very important to our company. We gain much more from a satisfied customer, than from a quick sale. Achieving your satisfaction is also in our interest; we cannot imagine a better ambassador of our company than a satisfied customer.

OUR CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Feel free to ask us for references from customers who have bought their dream home through us in Ibiza, Tenerife, Costa Calida, Costa Blanca and Costa del Sol

Notre offre

Our offer is spread over several regions, allowing us to guide you in a neutral way and show you what really suits you! Together with our professional staff, we ensure that everything is taken care of before, during and after the purchase. And at all times in your native language.

In front of

Before coming on site, we try to meet you at one of our offices, info days or webinars. It is very important for us to know your wishes and expectations.

We also provide you with information on the possibilities, the purchase costs, the buying process, tax obligations and much more. It is also very important to clarify beforehand what budget you want to spend on your dream Spanish home. So inform yourself well in advance with your house bank. That way, we can work specifically on site and you avoid any frustrations afterwards if you are unable to proceed with the purchase of that one particular dream home.

During the day

Having informed you fully and clearly, your arrival will be carefully prepared. On site, we take our time for you. It is important that you carry out a targeted market study with us of the offer and that you get to know the area.

Once you have found your property, we coordinate the entire administrative purchase process. In full transparency and trust, the contracts will be drawn up and we will accompany you to the notary where the transfer of ownership will take place.

After

In Spain, things work a little differently... At the notary, you become the proud owner, but after this, there are still many very important administrative obligations to be fulfilled. Don't worry, we will guide you professionally and you don't have to do anything yourself.

In addition, you can continue to count on us even after your purchase. We will be happy to help you and advise you on practical matters. (such as internet, furniture, rental company, etc.). Our after-sales service is one of our greatest assets.

Holiday rentals have been an important part of the property market in Tenerife for many years. More and more owners rent out their property (temporarily) to tourists, while many buyers also take this possibility into account when purchasing a home. This evolution has its advantages, but it also creates challenges, such as increasing pressure on the housing market, rising rental prices and reduced availability of homes for permanent residents.

In response, the Canary Islands government has introduced new regulations for holiday rentals. These rules determine where, when and under which conditions a property may still be rented out for tourist purposes.

For owners and buyers alike, it is therefore important to understand what exactly is changing and what this means in practice.

Many people today start their search for a second home, an investment or a permanent residence online. This applies both to mainland Spain and to the Canary or Balearic Islands. The internet is fast, accessible and offers a vast amount of information in a short time. Anyone interested in living or investing in Spain almost always begins with online research, long before any concrete decisions are made.

Tenerife is also frequently mentioned as one of the regions where a large supply, extensive information and many questions come together.

By exploring the property offer in Tenerife online, people can form ideas, discover regions and get an initial sense of prices and property types. At the same time, we notice that this abundance of information does not always make decision-making easier. On the contrary: the more one sees, the greater the doubt often becomes. This is precisely where the difference arises between casual browsing and making well-considered decisions.

The Costa Blanca North has firmly established itself in recent years as one of Europe’s most attractive regions for cycling tourism. Not through mass tourism or bold claims, but thanks to a natural combination of climate, varied landscapes, quiet roads and a lifestyle that suits those who enjoy being active while also valuing relaxation.

For many cyclists, this region is not just a destination for a cycling holiday, but a place where sport, tranquillity and quality of life come together naturally throughout the year.
