Demand remains strong
In 2025, Belgians purchased 4,506 properties in Spain. This equates to an average of more than 12 transactions per day. Despite a slight decrease compared to the previous year, interest in Spanish real estate remains very high.
This demand comes not only from investors, but also from buyers of second homes. Increasingly, these properties are (partly) rented out.
Renting is no longer straightforward
