MALLORCA
Mallorca, the largest of the Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean:
Mallorca offers turquoise blue seas, white sandy beaches and picturesque villages. The capital, Palma de Mallorca, is a bustling city with historic architecture, narrow streets, and bustling squares. Visitors can enjoy the Gothic La Seu Cathedral, the Almudaina Royal Palace, and the bustling Old Town.
The northwest of Mallorca is dominated by the Tramuntana Mountains, with steep cliffs, green valleys, and charming villages such as Valldemossa and Deià. Cyclists and hikers love to explore this area, and the Cap de Formentor lighthouse offers spectacular views of the coast.
To the north is the bay of Alcúdia with the longest and widest beach in Mallorca. Alcúdia itself is a historic town with medieval walls and a bustling market. The eastern part of the island is known for its beautiful coves (calas), which are surrounded by rocks and are perfect for sunbathing and swimming.
In short, Mallorca is a destination that offers something for everyone.
